“A Day in the Life of a Mug Maker, Laser Ninja & General Chaos Coordinator”

Good morning from Vinyls Your Way HQ — where the PLA never stops printing, the mugs never stop sublimating, and the customers somehow always message “Hi mate, can you do this by tonight?” at 11:58pm.

Today started like most days: kettle on, XTool warming up, and a quick prayer to the printing gods that the Anycubic behaves itself. (It didn’t. Obviously.) The bed decided it wanted to be a ski slope again, but after a bit of swearing and a gentle tap — sorted.

New product of the day?A Pen Engraving Jig for the XTool. Yep, I finally made one.Stops pens rolling around like drunk penguins and actually lets me engrave 10 at once. Looks sexy too. I’ll get it on eBay, Etsy, TikTok, and yes — before you ask — on the website as well.

Orders have been flying in for the usual suspects: rude mugs, personalised pens, PECS magnets, and the good old 'Jim Fixed It For Me' medal (made safely and sensibly before TikTok has a meltdown again). If there’s one thing I’ve learned running this place, it’s that people love a gift that’s 50% sentimental, 50% unhinged.

Meanwhile, the laser has been running hot all morning. I swear if the XTool had feelings it would have divorced me months ago. But we move.

Customer of the day award:Goes to the legend who ordered a mug at 9:05, asked for a preview at 9:06, and said “Perfect!” at 9:07.Be more like that guy.

What’s coming next?– New extreme-dark-humour Secret Santa collection– Pen jig expansion sizes– A few more decal designs (appropriate ones AND absolutely not appropriate ones)– And maybe a blog tomorrow if the machines don’t take me hostage
